This qualification is made up of the following compulsory Knowledge and Practical Skill Modules:
Cybersecurity Analysts at Greenview College is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the growing field of cybersecurity. This qualification covers essential areas such as network security, cybersecurity threats and attacks, and ethical considerations in cybersecurity governance. Cybersecurity at Greenview College provides a strong foundation through a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical skill modules, and valuable work experience, ensuring students are well-prepared for the challenges of securing digital environments.
Knowledge Modules:
Students will gain a solid foundation through the following compulsory Knowledge Modules:
- Introduction to Cybersecurity (Level 4, 8 Credits)
- Fundamentals of Network Security and Defence (Level 5, 12 Credits)
- Cybersecurity Threats and Attacks (Level 5, 12 Credits)
- Cybersecurity Governance, Legislation, and Ethics (Level 4, 4 Credits)
- Fundamentals of Design Thinking and Innovation (Level 4, 1 Credit)
- Logical Thinking and Basic Calculations (Level 4, 3 Credits)
- Computers, Devices, and Computing Systems (Level 4, 6 Credits)
- Data and Database Vulnerabilities (Level 4, 3 Credits)
- Introduction to 4IR and Future Skills (Level 4, 4 Credits)
Practical Skill Modules:
The Practical Skill Modules provide hands-on experience in essential cybersecurity tasks. Students will focus on:
- Ensure Compliance in Terms of Legal Cybersecurity Requirements (Level 5, 4 Credits)
- Assess Risks and Vulnerabilities (Level 5, 20 Credits)
- Implement Protection, Prevention, and Detection Measures (Level 5, 20 Credits)
- Apply Logical Thinking and Maths (Level 4, 6 Credits)
- Apply Basic Scriptwriting for Cybersecurity Toolsets (Level 4, 4 Credits)
- Access and Visualise Structured Data Using Spreadsheets (Level 4, 5 Credits)
- Apply Design Thinking Methodologies (Level 4, 4 Credits)
- Function Ethically and Effectively as a Member of a Multidisciplinary Team (Level 4, 5 Credits)
Work Experience Modules:
The Work Experience Modules ensure students gain real-world experience by applying their skills in professional settings. These modules include:
- Compliance with Legal Cybersecurity Requirements (Level 5, 12 Credits)
- Cybersecurity Risk Assessment and Mitigation (Level 5, 20 Credits)
- Cybersecurity Detection, Protection, and Prevention Processes (Level 5, 20 Credits)

Certification
Learners who have passed National Examination will be awarded Occupational Certificate: MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE by Quality Council. Certificates are only issued to students that pass the EISA (NATIONAL EXAMS) whereby this certificate is Nationally and Internationally recognized.
