COURSE BACKGROUND: INTERIOR DESIGNING (N4 – N6)
The Interior Designing (N4 – N6) program provides students with essential skills and creativity required to design functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces. As interior designers, students must learn to visualize and transform spaces in three dimensions while addressing clients’ needs. This qualification offers training in designing both private and public areas, with an emphasis on sustainability and functionality. Students are also introduced to innovative design thinking, which empowers them to create socially responsible environments across residential, corporate, and public spaces.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
This qualification spans three years. Students begin with 18 months of full-time theoretical study, followed by 18 months of practical industry experience. Upon completing both the theoretical and practical components, students earn a National Diploma in Interior Designing.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES
Throughout the program, students will acquire skills in both the creative and technical aspects of interior design. They will learn how to select materials, plan spaces, and develop design concepts for various types of environments. Graduates will leave with the expertise necessary to succeed in the interior design industry, well-prepared to meet clients’ needs across residential, commercial, and public spaces.
