The student, with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work with children up to 4 years old and start your own crèche. You will learn to identify signs and symptoms of child illnesses, learn the methodology of planning and presenting lessons, how to make equipment for class, how to deal with staffing issues, how to organise budgets, etc.
Furthermore, the programme also includes continuous exposure to the industry – with students going out to schools once a week for experiential learning.

This subject advises students on how to start their own business through drawing up a business plan

Daycare Communication N5
The student is taught to use various forms of communication that he/she will need in the workplace. The emphasis in this subject is to show the importance of effective communication in the Daycare situation.

Grade 12 National Senior Certificate
Upon completion, certification will be issued from the Department of Higher Education & Training [DHET].
The National Diploma in Educare is made up of the following courses which are done over a period of 18 months.
