- Have passed Grade 11 or its equivalent (NQF Level 3)
Including English language and Mathematics/Mathematical literacy - Have Completed End User Computing Level 5

Upon completion, a National Certificate will be issued from the Department of Higher Education & Training through MICTSETA.
The qualification is made up of the following modules which are done over a period of 12 months.
Semester 01: Concept of Computer Architecture, Introduction to networking, Introduction to System Analysis, Computer Packages.
Semester 02: Web Design, Computer Programming, Software Development, Software Development Project.
